Built on Experience, Honesty, and a Commitment to the Community
I have spent the majority of my life working on and around machinery. My experience began at a young age, working alongside my father on home and personal projects and learning to maintain and repair our own trucks and heavy equipment. Those early years gave me a strong mechanical foundation, but more importantly, they taught me the value of understanding how things work, solving problems the right way, and taking pride in a job well done.
I later spent three years working as a mechanic for a John Deere dealership, where I gained professional experience working on a wide range of equipment. My work focused primarily on agricultural tractors and utility vehicles, including the setup and preparation of new equipment as well as diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining older machines. That experience strengthened my knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and gave me firsthand experience with the demands placed on equipment in agricultural and commercial environments.
After living in the small coastal community of San Gregorio, California, I began to recognize a need in the area. Farmers, ranchers, property owners, businesses, and residents did not have easy access to a dependable mobile mechanic who could come to them and work on the wide variety of vehicles and equipment that keep rural operations moving.
In 2024, I combined my mechanical experience, practical knowledge, and connection to the local community to establish Seaside Mechanical & Machine.
Transparency has been a cornerstone of the business from the beginning. Unfortunately, the reputation of mechanics and repair shops is not always a good one. I saw some of the reasons for that firsthand while working in the dealership environment, and I have heard similar concerns through many conversations with friends, neighbors, and customers.
At Seaside Mechanical & Machine, my goal is to do things differently. I believe customers deserve to know what is wrong with their equipment, why a repair is necessary, what their options are, and what they are paying for. I strive to operate with honesty, integrity, and straightforward communication from diagnosis through completion of the repair.
I also welcome customers who want to be involved in the process. Whether you simply want to see the failed component for yourself or you want to better understand the mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems involved, I am happy to explain what I am seeing, what I am testing, and why I recommend a particular repair.
For me, good mechanical work is about more than replacing parts. It is about accurately diagnosing the problem, finding a practical solution, standing behind the work, and building a relationship with customers based on trust.
Seaside Mechanical & Machine was built to provide dependable, knowledgeable service to the people and businesses that keep our local communities working.
